Art....

    The people you see listed beneath are all artists who have worked with us showing their work at our events in support of the various causes. Sometimes their work is overtly political, other times the meaning is more abstract. Unfortunately most have no web space where their work can be viewed, so until we can pester them into setting up a blog or something, all we can do is give them recognition.


  • Global Eye work in new media, producing provocative video animation, often poking fun at contemporary figures in public life, exposing bombast, pomposity and myth making.
  • Pete Little is a blacksmith, sculptor,painter and lately landscaper, who plays with the ideas of the natural world and the mechanical, the fixed and the fluid, vegetative and inanimate, to produce challenging and beautiful works of art.
  • Maria Freitas is a Brazilian fashion designer, whose clothes reflect a freedom of spirit and imagination. Her designs have won her recognition both in Europe and in Brazil.
  • Jucara Balzan is a hugely talented photographer still learning her trade, but as she says, the day she stops learning is the day sheÂ'll stop taking pictures.
  • Jay is a street artist from the Portuguese island of Cape Verde, living in the UK heÂ's won the respect of and worked with many of the greats in his field. Most recently heÂ's branched into fashion and Flash.
  • Danielle V B Smith is an artist, photographer and campaigner. Her lense has brought much needed focus on the people she has visited and the circumstances in which they live. Circumstances which are often troubled and ignored by the developed world. Her work on the Western Sahara campaign deserving special mention.
